Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the TV Tracker app and website. TV Tracker is a free personal project run by Martin Miles in the United Kingdom. By using it you agree to these terms. Please also read the privacy policy.
1. Your account
- You need an account to use most features. Give accurate details and keep your password safe.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- You must be at least 13 to use TV Tracker.
2. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use TV Tracker for anything unlawful, or to harass or spam anyone (for example by sending invites to people who don't want them);
- put offensive or unlawful content in names, notes or group names;
- try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with or overload the service;
- scrape, copy or resell the service or its data.
3. Listings and third-party data
Show details, where-to-watch information, schedules and air dates come from third parties, including TMDB, JustWatch (via TMDB), TVmaze and broadcasters. We can't guarantee they're accurate, complete or up to date, and services and channels change their line-ups at short notice. Always check with the service or broadcaster. TV Tracker doesn't stream any content and isn't affiliated with any streaming service or broadcaster.
4. The service
TV Tracker is provided free and "as is". It's currently in testing, so features may change, break or be removed, and alerts may arrive late or not at all. We may change or stop the service at any time.
5. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of TV Tracker, including missed programmes, inaccurate listings or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Ending your use
You can stop using TV Tracker and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we shut down the service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using TV Tracker after a change, the new terms apply.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
